My young friend Alexis gets new ink while in Toronto. Pretty cool, bet it hurt a bit.
Had lunch at one of my favorite Thai cafe’s, Sea Thai in the university district in Seattle. Wonderful hot and sour prawn soup, and chicken satay. Tiny little place, 5 or 6 tables, friendly wait staff, excellent food. After your meal check out the Erotic Bakery just down the street, definitely nsfw. We are now in the uni bookstore and loads of cool second hand book stores in the neighborhood. Got a dog eared copy of Neal Stephensons ” Crypyomonicon”, and was happy to pay $8 for it. Stay tuned, the adventure continues.
On the road again, to quote Canned Heat. Hitting all the outlet malls, book stores, and Starbucks. Make that independent, atmosphere driven coffee houses. I suspect we will hit a Mexican and or Thai restaurant or two. Stay tuned.
My pal Doug has written an amazing book for chess fans and soon to be chess fans. Available from the author, email me for the link to upcoming web page. Congrats, brother, its brilliant.

Just thinking about my pal Ron in Japan. Hope your having a great summer brother.

Having a turn towards normalcy, finally.
